MILWAUKEE – Two members of the Mount Mary University athletic teams earned awards from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference this season. Among the NACC winners, Ana Mercado (Jr./Grafton, Wis.) and Danielle Sherrer (Sr./Milwaukee, Wis.) were honored in the school's first season in the conference.

The recent awards released by the NACC were the conference sportsmanship awards. The sportsmanship awards are selected by head coaches, and chosen based on the principles of sportsmanship as promoted by the NACC and NCAA.

Senior Danielle Sherrer received the NACC sportsmanship in her final collegiate season for cross country. Ana Mercado received the honor after her year on the Blue Angels tennis team. For a full listing of the NACC winners, click here.
