MILWAUKEE – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced their 2015-16 Scholar-Athletes Thursday evening. 13 Mount Mary student-athletes made the honor of NACC Scholar-Athletes for all of their work in the classrooms.

In 2015-16, Blue Angels tennis and cross country joined the NACC as affiliate members. After the inaugural seasons, the MMU student-athletes have already made an impact. Six Blue Angel tennis players and seven cross country runners made the list of NACC scholar-athletes who maintained a grade point average of 3.25 or higher for the 2015-16 academic year.

A hallmark of the Mount Mary University Athletics, 51 percent of all the Blue Angel student-athletes made the MMU 2015 fall Dean's list (3.6 GPA or higher). In addition, 80 percent of Blue Angel student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher in 2015-16.
