MILWAUKEE – The fall season for the NCAA is winding down quickly. While MMU Cross Country will have the week to prepare for NCAA Regionals on Nov. 10, the soccer squad hosts their final game of 2018 this evening at Blue Angels Soccer Field.

The series between the schools is 4-4 since the Blue Angels joined the NCAA in 2009. Almost a complete overhaul since the last contest between these schools for the Blue Angels, but the Red Lions offense is still propelled by Abigail Crockett. In the last game between these teams in 2015 Crockett scored seven goals when LCU won 14-2.

This season, the Blue Angels are 1-13 on the 2018 season with one game left to go on their schedule. Halee Van de Boom (So./Saukville, Wis.) has recently boosted the team's offense from the backline. Despite being a defender, Van de Boom has scored the last two goals for the Blue Angels, both deep shots beyond 15 yards deep.

The Red Lions are 5-8 this year winning their last contest against Nebraska Christian 9-1. In the win on the road for LCU, Crockett lifted her team by scoring five of their nine goals. Although on the losing side of .500, the road-heavy Red Lions are 4-5 when away from their home field this season.
