Friday will see the opening of the 2018-19 basketball season. The Blue Angels tied the school's single-season wins record last season, and look to break it this year after the roster continues to develop. In addition to the more experienced roster, the deep recruiting class will add much depth.

The Regents will head to the Bloechl Center for season opener, then the Blue Angels will head out east to take on Franklin College on Sunday. Rockford will rekindle the brief all-time series against the Blue Angels with a slight 2-0 lead. The last time they played, however, was in November of 2016.

The Sunday contest will be the first time these teams have met since MMU joined the NCAA in 2009. Last season, the Grizzlies finished with one less win than MMU and have similar team stats. (Season Preview)

The cross country team wraps up their season on Saturday when they head to Eau Claire, Wis. Top to bottom, the roster for the Blue Angels has seen major drops in race times throughout the season. The Blue Angels will attempt to keep that trend going at the NCAA Regionals where MMU will compete against over 40 NCAA institutions.
