In the first contest of the week, the Blue Angels (3-3) will finish their two-game series against the Lumberjills for a neutral site affair in Stevens Point, Wis. This last Saturday, Northland defeated the Blue Angels 65-56 in a game that was close down to the final minutes. Newcomer Melissa Golo (Fr./Boise, Idaho) led MMU's offense with 15 points, but NC was able to hit 10-of-29 from outside in their narrow victory.

On Saturday, the Blue Angels return to the Bloechl Center to take on the Crown College Storm. This marks the first time in program history that these two teams will play. To this point in the season, MMU and the Storm share only one common opponent: Alverno (2-1).

The Blue Angels defeated the Inferno for the first time in program history in November of this year. MMU won 80-66 in a game where their starting lineup hit 13-of-20 from beyond the 3-point line and starter Erica Williams scored 21 points with 16 rebounds.

In Crown's game against the Inferno, the two teams traded leads six times, but Alverno hit 21-of-31 from the free throw line to salt away a 64-50 victory for the Inferno.
