The Blue Angels will first host the Silver Lake College Lakers on Tuesday evening. The Lakers are 4-10 this season and are 1-1 against common opponents with MMU: Andrews and Northland. The Blue Angels are off to their best start in program history and are just two wins away from tying the team's record for wins in a season. MMU is 2-1 against those same common opponents this season.

As a team, the Lakers average nearly two points per game more than the Blue Angels. However, MMU hits their shots at a more consistent rate. This season, the Blue Angels are hitting 40.8 percent from the field and 38.7 percent from 3-point territory. Junior Rae Grubbs (Covington, Ind.) leads the outside charge this season hitting 50.0 percent from outside.

On Thursday, the Blue Angels will head to Berrien Springs, Mich. where they will take on the Andrews University Cardinals for the second time this season. MMU defeated the Cardinals in a comeback 69-60 victory at the Bloechl Center in November. A game in which Erica Williams (So./Bloomington, Ill.) posted one of her five double-doubles of the season.

Home court advantage could play a factor in the rematch, with the Blue Angels holding a 1-2 record on the road, and the Cardinals boasting a 4-2 home record.

Tuesday's game will have live stats and video available at MtMaryAthletics.com and will be simulcast on FaceBook Live. For those not able to attend Thursday evening's contest, check out the AU's YouTube Channel closer to game time.
