The Blue Angels are 7-20 on the season. Most recently, the Blue Angels lost to their rival 10-2 in five innings, then in game two of the doubleheader MMU turned around and defeated Alverno 7-4.

Many players contributed to the win against the Inferno. Newcomer Taylor Hienbuecher (Fr./Sycamore, Ill.) went 2-of-4 at the plate with a double and three RBIs to lead the Blue Angels, while teammate Amelia Flint (Sr./Whitefish Bay, Wis.) added her second homerun of the season late in the contest to give the Blue Angels some late insurance.

First, the Blue Angels will travel across the state border to take on Trinity International for the first time this season. The Trojans are 16-24 this season, but are 4-10 on their home field. Much like the Blue Angels, the Trojans focus on scoring their runs with small ball as their team slugging percentage is sitting at .357 this season with 131 RBIs.

On Tuesday, the Blue Angels look to close out their season when they head to Appleton, Wis. to take on Lawrence University. The Wikings are sitting at 12-20 on the season and are 4-3 on home territory. This late in the season, there are two Vikings on the roster with batting averages north of .400: Ceara Larson with .451 and Amanda Karnatz with .430.
