MILWAUKEE – As the NCAA season continues, the Mount Mary University Blue Angels have a jam-packed schedule coming this week. After filling the Bloechl Center and Blue Angels Soccer Field the last two weekends, the volleyball, soccer and golf teams all have road events in the coming week.

The Mount Mary University volleyball team hits the road this week with a midweek rivalry match against Alverno and a weekend tournament at Rockford.

The Alverno Inferno are 0-7 on the season like the Blue Angels. In common opponents, the two teams not only have the same records, but actually the same set scores against those teams: 3-0 loss to Kalamazoo and a 3-1 loss to Crown.

After the rivalry matchup at Alverno, the Blue Angels will pack another four matches into a two-day tournament. This time the Blue Angels will travel to Rockford as they rekindle a few old rivalries with Maranatha and Moody Bible.

Two games this week for the Mount Mary University soccer team. The Blue Angels (1-2) just tacked on their first win of the season last Saturday against Eureka (0-2). MMU scored their first four goals of the season in the high-octane 4-2 victory over the Red Devils.

This week, the soccer team will head to Minnesota for a pair of games Friday and Saturday. It will be the first time in program history the Blue Angels take on Martin Luther on the pitch.

After the Friday night showdown, the Blue Angels will travel to St. Bonifacius to take on Crown on Saturday. Last season, the Storm defeated the Blue Angels 10-0 on Crown's home turf.

Following a brief respite, the Mount Mary university golf team picks up play on Friday. The Blue Angels will travel to Greenfield Park Golf Course to take on their longtime rival Alverno for a dual match. Then MMU will take part in their second two-day invite of the season at Whispering Springs Golf Course. Marian University will play host in the multi-team tournament beginning Saturday morning.
