MBU had a nine-match winning streak snapped last week in a five-set match against Wisconsin Lutheran College, but the Sabercats bounced back at the end of the week winning both matches against Illinois Tech and Edgewood.

On Friday, the Blue Angels head to Indiana to take on Calumet-St. Joseph. The Crimson Wave have lost 14 matches in a row since winning their season opener against Moody Bible Institute. This will be the first time in school history that the Blue Angels will take on the Crimson Wave.

On offense, Adrianna Nester and Brianna Ecker lead the Blue Angels. Nester has attained 132 kills this season and is ranked third in the American Collegiate Athletic Association in kills. In addition, Nester leads the ACAA in total digs at 248.

Teammate Brianna Ecker is second on the team in kills with 77, but leads her team in assists and service aces. Ecker is third in the conference in assists with 236 and fourth in the ACAA in service aces at 35.

MMU Soccer returns to the pitch on Saturday against Finlandia. The conference opponent is 8-3-1 on the season with wins over Grace Christian and Eureka. MMU defeated the Red Devils in September and are 0-2 against GCU this season.

Hannah Rose has led the Blue Angels defense all season long. The senior goalkeeper has amassed 199 saves this season and leads both the ACAA and the NCAA Division III women's soccer circuit.
