Mount Mary University has another chance to help the Special Olympics. After an academic year filled with Student-Athlete Advisory Committee events focused on raising money and assistance for Special Olympics, MMU SAAC Advisor/Assistant Athletic Director Kelsey Peterson submitted an article cataloging the SAAC Unified Red Carpet Ball to NCAA.org.
The commentary caught the attention of the judges and is one of three finalists. The article with the most votes will receive $500 from the NCAA national office for the winner’s next Special Olympics activity.
