This Week in Blue Angel Athletics

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER

In the words of rock legend Alice Cooper, school is indeed out for summer. With finals completed, dormitories emptying out and summer vacations already being planned, Mount Mary University successfully celebrated the graduation of both its first and 100th class in MMU history.

This past Saturday morning, several Blue Angel student-athletes crossed the stage at the Mount Mary University Bloechl Center, culminating very strong careers in a Mount Mary uniform. MMY Athletics wishes the best to all our graduated student-athletes, and good luck in your future endeavors!

NEWSLETTER RELEASED

Volume II, Issue 3 of the Mount Mary Athletics Newsletter was released this past Sunday. We take a look at reactions from the fifth annual Blue Angel Awards Banquet held in early May, as well as recap the softball and tennis seasons as they drew to a close at the end of April.

ALL-AD3I HONORS PUSHED TO THURSDAY

The Association of Division III Independents will once again attempt to name its All-AD3I softball teams this week. The previous two weeks were in direct conflict with other programs' playing of postseason tournaments. Should the third time indeed be the charm, Thursday afternoon our Blue Angel softballers will find out if they earn an All-Association nod.
