The Blue Angels look to conclude their season against familiar foe Maranatha Baptist University (4-20). So far this season, the Blue Angels lead the series against the Sabercats 4-0. The last two of those contests resulted in MMU history when Ashley Contreras (So./College Station, Texas) and Nikki Festge (Sr./Menomonee Falls, Wis.) pitched back-to-back complete game shutouts to give the Blue Angels their sixth and seventh wins of the season.

As a team the Sabercats have a .261 batting average with a .335 on-base percentage. Leading that offensive charge is senior Emily Boogher. The shortstop has a .484 batting average with a .742 slugging percentage featuring 10 doubles and three triples. Leading the Association of Division III Independents conference in batting average and on-base percentage (.543), Boogher has been a cornerstone of the entire season.

As a team the Blue Angels hold a .234 batting average while getting on-base at a .294 clip. The Blue Angels are led offensively by Contreras with a .325 batting average, .538 slugging percentage, eight doubles, 16 RBIs, and three homeruns.

In the circle, the Blue Angels split innings evenly between Festge and Contreras. Festge has kept her 6.15 ERA in check by allowing few free passes giving 23 bases on balls while averaging 4.16 strikeouts per game. Contreras comes into today's game with a 7.12 ERA striking out 5.74 per game and walking 49 this season.
