The Blue Angels defense then came through with a timely double play where third basemen Adrianna Nester (So./Anaheim, Calif.) grabbed a line drive out of the air and fired back to first base in time to pickoff the runner and end the inning.

MSOE added two more runs in the bottom of the third on a walk, two hits and a Blue Angel error.
