The Archers host this late season battle sitting at 2-10 on the season. Most recently the Archers lost to common opponent Maranatha Baptist University 72-39 (MMU lost to MBU 62-39). One of the the two wins of the season for Mood Bible came against Illinois Tech, another common opponent that the also Blue Angels defeated 44-29.
As a team, the Archers average 37.7 points per game with an average -28.1 scoring margin. Defensively, MBI averages 7.1 steals per game and have 37 team blocks this year. On the glass, the Archers average 35.4 rebounds a night.
The offense for Moody Bible is fueled by Olivia Hunter who averages 14.0 points per game, 12.4 rebounds per game and 1.2 blocks per game. Hunter's rebounding prowess has her third overall in NCCAA DII.
The Blue Angels sit at 2-11 this season. After defeating IIT, the Blue Angels have gone on a five game losing streak. Even through the losses, the Blue Angels lineup has brought some top level performances.
Jess Runge (Jr./Freedom, Wis.) has had a recent surge of production. Runge scored 29 combine points in the last two games and also has also been the team's thief swiping four steals her last game and averaging 2.5 steals per game which leads the Great South Athletic Conference.
Becky Onan (So./Grafton, Wis.) has also been a lynchpin of MMU basketball. Onan is top five in the GSAC in points per game (13.0), rebounds per game (9.8) and blocks per game (2.9). Onan has blocked more shots herself than four of the six other GSAC teams.
