MILWAUKEE, WI – The Edgewood College Eagles brought a two match winning streak and tremendous depth to the Mount Mary soccer field on Friday. Edgewood used their deep roster and consistent offensive pressure to beat Mount Mary by a final of 8-0.
The match followed a pattern that has been consistent for the Blue Angel side in their first four matches. Edgewood struck early and applied sustained pressure preventing Mount Mary from being able to slow the scoring or mount any offense on the day.
First year goalkeeper Dylan Christensen continues to pile up saves, as she recorded another 19 on the match.
Mount Mary (0-4) will play their first road game of the season this upcoming Sunday, September 11th. The Blue Angels will not have to travel far however, as their destination is Milwaukee foe and fellow women's institution, Alverno College. The match will begin at 12 pm and coverage is available on www.mtmaryathletics.com
