Lansing, MI-    The Mount Mary soccer team headed East on Friday, for the first of two games they would play over the weekend in Michigan.  Friday's contest was in Lansing against Great Lakes Christian College.  The host Crusaders took an early advantage and were able to defeat Mount Mary by a score of 7-0. 

Great Lakes Christian found the net five times in the first half and added two tallies in the second.   

Brianna Brown held off the Crusaders in net as often as she could, recording 22 saves for MMU. 

The Blue Angels (1-8-1) will take on Grace Christian on Saturday before returning to Wisconsin.  The match is scheduled to begin at 1 pm and live coverage will be available on www.mtmaryathletics.com
