The 2015 cross country season is coming to an end, and the Blue Angels have one of the most successful seasons in school history to show for it. Along with some of the highest places consistently produced by a newcomer, the Blue Angels have routinely had their two best runners finish in the 20 percent. Along with a sixth place finish in the team's first ever conference race.
Following right behind Jori Galles (So./Waukesha, Wis.) and Natalie Guyette (Jr./Shiocton, Wis.) in almost every race is Danielle Sherrer (Sr./Milwaukee, Wis.). Sherrer picked up cross country late in her high school career, and has dedicated herself to the sport in college.
Sherrer has slashed times every year, and this season is no difference. Every race this season, Sherrer has cut down her time from the previous race of equivalent distance. A remarkable career for Sherrer will be capped off this weekend at Augustana College for the NCAA Regionals.
