MILWAUKEE – Following their opening week of play, Michaela Buchholz (So./Germantown, Wis.) is the next Blue Angels Spotlight Player. Early on in the season, the speedy infielder leads her team in a number of offensive categories.

Currently fifth in the Association of Division III Independents in batting average, the .304-hitter has helped her team across the board to this point in the season. Buchholz has worked her way to the clean-up spot in the lineup after hitting over .500 in the second-spot in MMU’s first few games.

Buchholz has worked her way on base consistently and posses the team’s leading on-base percentage at .360. In addition to her team leading seven hits Buchholz leads the team with three stolen bases.
