MILWAUKEE – Amelia Flint (Jr./Whitefish Bay, Wis.) has been named the next Blue Angels Spotlight Player. The junior centerfielder has quietly added to the Mount Mary University softball team’s potent offense this season with some very impressive numbers.

Flint has been a consistent component of the Blue Angels lineup in 2017. The newcomer has added to MMU’s offense with 20 hits, eight of which are extra-base hits. Along with hitting a .364 batting average, Flint posts a .600 slugging percentage and leads MMU in homeruns: Sidnee Turnage (Fr./Hesperia, Calif.) is tied with Flint in homeruns.

In addition to her offensive prowess, the junior has been a pillar on defense. Flint has a 1.000 fielding percentage on the season with 32 putouts and one assist.
