MILWAUKEE – Following another consistent week by the junior, Lauren Harris (Sheridan, Ill.) has been named the next Blue Angels Spotlight Player. The outside hitter has provided sparks both in front of the net and from behind the service line.

This last week, Harris helped her team out offensively where ever was needed. Averaging a team leading 1.7 kills per set, the junior dished out 13 kills in her two matches last weekend at the Bloechl Center.

Harris crushed seven kills against the North Central University Rams (2-22) on Friday night. Warming up behind the line, Harris hit two service aces in the match along with eight digs.

On Saturday, Harris went off for a game high six service aces and sacrificed her body for 30 digs against the Emmaus Bible College Eagles (18-2). The consistent effort all season long has kept the Blue Angels going in 2017.
