MILWAUKEE – As she continues to add on to an impressive season, Emily Ristow (Jr./Sheboygan, Wis.) has been elected to be this installment of the Mount Mary University Spotlight Player.

This season Ristow has played tremendously. Scoring 16 goals in 13 games played, Ristow has been the cornerstone of the MMU offense, and has scored a goal in every single Blue Angels victory.

Besides leading MMU in goals for the season, Ristow leads the Blue Angels all-time in goals scored with 61, no asterisk required. Perhaps there should be a marker for Ristow, however, as she has accomplished this task in only three years at Mount Mary University.

Perhaps one of her finest offensive performances, Ristow knocked in four goals in a single half of play against Finlandia University on Sunday Oct. 12th. Leading her team to 4-0 victory and shaking the team of a five game streak without a win.

The last few games of Ristow’s career are right around the corner. Be sure to pay tribute to Emily Ristow’s success as a Blue Angel Sunday Oct. 26th at Mount Mary Field, kickoff is at 2:00 pm.
