Blue Angel Basketball Camps
We are excited to offer Blue Angel Basketball Camps for elementary, middle and high school student-athletes. These affordable, fun, and fundamentals-focused camps offer players in your program an opportunity to learn basketball and life skills from Mount Mary Coach Joshua Steffen and his staff. We offer two opportunities, tailored to your needs.
Youth Camps
We work with local schools, teams and programs to deliver half-day camps at Milwaukee-area schools. Camps are open to all types of players -- from elite level to beginner – and we focus on fundamentals, combining skills and drills with competitive game situations. Along the way, we offer inspiration and inspire confidence in your kids, with plenty of fun along the way, too. We will build our camp to your age groups, and costs are intentionally kept low to remove that barrier for attendees.

High School Sessions
At the invitation of coaches and athletic directors, Mount Mary coaches will also travel to high schools to offer sessions for current players, perhaps as a way to enhance one of your summer contact days. Sessions, free of charge, will be tailored to the needs of the host coaches and could range from a presentation and drills from Coach Steffen to a full-day camp.

About Coach Steffen
Joshua Steffen is in his fourth season at Mount Mary and has led the program to unprecedented success, setting a school record for wins in 2023-24 -- the first winning regular season in the history of Mount Mary Basketball.
Steffen has more than 17 years of head coaching experience, previously serving as head coach at Stephens College in Columbia, Mo.; Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Ill.; and Concordia University Ann Arbor (Mich.). Between his stints at CUC and Stephens, Steffen acted as Director of Admissions and Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Living Word Lutheran High School in Jackson, Wis.
The Champaign, Ill., native attended Milwaukee Lutheran High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wisconsin Lutheran College, where he also played basketball for the Warriors for four years. He earned a Master of Sports Science in coaching from the United States Sports Academy.
Coach Steffen is married to Lindsay and father to two future Blue Angel basketball players: Lainey and Leighton.
