MILWAUKEE – The American Collegiate Athletic Association released the 2020 winter and spring Academic All-ACAA team and honor role today. As has been the case in the many conferences and associations MMU has been a part of, the Blue Angels are well represented on the academic teams.
Student-athletes from the American Collegiate Athletic Association that have attended their institution for at leas one season and have a 3.5 GPA or higher are members of the All-ACAA Academic team. With this year's pool being comprised of seven schools, two of which compete in both men's and women's athletics in the ACAA, 10 Blue Angels made the All-ACAA Academic this season; a team made up of 42 student-athletes. In addition, two Blue Angels made the All-ACAA Honor Role: student-athletes that have a GPA between 3.25 and 3.49.

This season, 12 Blue Angels made the All-ACAA academic team and honor role. The high percentage of student-athletes having success on both their respective fields of play and the classroom has the Blue Angels among the elite in the conference's academia. The MMU Basketball team hosted and earned the fourth seed in the 2020 ACAA Women's Basketball Tournament, and the MMU Softball team was set to host the 2020 ACAA Softball Tournament before the season was canceled.
