Volleyball will host the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Friday & Saturday in This Week in Blue Angel Athletics for November 1-7, 2021.

C2C Volleyball Tournament Showcased at Bloechl

The Mount Mary volleyball team welcomes five other Coast-To-Coast member institutions from quite literally across the country in pursuit of a tournament championship and an automatic qualifying bid to next week's NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Tournament.

The Blue Angels, seeded #6 in the six-team tournament, will take on #3-seed Mary Washington at 1:30 p.m. in Friday afternoon's quarterfinal round. The winner will advance to the semifinals against #2-seed Christopher Newport in a 6:30 p.m. matchup.

Mount Mary (7-23 overall) was without some key components in last weekend's regular season finale. The Blue Angels fell to Elmhurst and Concordia Chicago Friday, then MSOE and Carroll on Saturday all in sweeping fashion at neighboring WLC's Warrior Invite. With the return of key positions, MMU hopes to improve on that showing by playing home spoiler in this weekend's postseason tournament.
