MILWAUKEE – Today the North Central University Rams come to the Bloechl to take on the Mount Mary University Blue Angels (1-6). It will be the first game for both the Rams (1-8) and MMU in 2017, and is the first game for each team since the beginning of winter break.

On paper, these teams are very evenly matched. The Blue Angels are shooting 32.4 percent from the field this season, 24.7 percent from beyond the three point line and 64.3 percent from the free throw line. NCU has a 33.7 team field goal percentage, 25.0 3-point percentage, and a 64.7 free throw percentage.

The Rams may have the advantage on the glass however averaging a +6.6 rebound margin while they also average an astonishing 18.0 offensive rebounds per game, 45.0 rebounds per game. The Blue Angels have a -15.4 rebound margin per game and average 30.0 rebounds per game.

Becky Onan (Jr./Grafton, Wis.) leads the Blue Angels offensive attack with 10.9 points per game and also leads the defensive battle for MMU with 6.0 rebounds per game, 2.3 steals per game and 1.7 blocks per game.

For the Rams, Lizzy Swanson leads the charge averaging 19.3 points per game and a team leading 1.4 steals per game. Swanson is no stranger to the deep shot as she averages 6.0 3-point attempts per game while making 1.9 of those attempts.

Freshman teammate Annabel Morrisroe leads the Rams in rebounding averaging 10.1 per night and is second on the team in scoring with 11.1 points per game.
