Blue Angels Make The Grade

MILWAUKEE – The American Collegiate Athletic Association announced their All-Academic teams for basketball today. The Mount Mary University basketball team sent two players to the All-Academic team and four more student-athletes to the All-Academic Honor Roll. (ACAA Release)

Student-Athletes who make the ACAA All-Academic team all have attended their current institution for at least two semesters and have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. The Blue Angels are represented on the All-Academic team by juniors Rae Grubbs (Covington, Ind.) and Brooke Uebersetzig (Greenwood, Ind.).

The ACAA All-Academic Honor Roll is made up of student-athletes that have attended their current institution for at least two semester and have a cumulative grade point average between 3.49 and 3.25. The Mount Mary University basketball team sent four Blue Angels to the All-Academic Honor Roll including Kaylie Cook (So./Fairborn, Ohio), Kirsten George (So./Fairborn, Ohio), Tamara Griffin (So./Champaign, Ill.) and Lucy Pavelko (Jr./Muskego, Wis.).

The Mount Mary University basketball team just finished their best overall season in school history and now cap that off with sending six Blue Angels to the All-Academic ACAA teams. The record-breaking season saw many firsts for the Blue Angels. New to the ACAA, the Blue Angels can add one more first as they send their first team of student-athletes make the grade while working their way through the historic year.
