MILWAUKEE – The American Collegiate Athletic Association announced their selection and seeding for the 2020 ACAA Women's Basketball Tournament. Mount Mary University basketball team earned the fourth seed in the tournament, and are prepared to host the championship at the end of February.
The Blue Angels are 5-16 on the season as of this morning. In a transition year, MMU Basketball was able to win against four NCAA teams and were just .003 points away from earning the third seed in the annual conference tournament. The Blue Angels will take on the one seed University of California Santa Cruz (12-12) on Sat. Feb 29 at 3:00 pm in the Bloechl Center.
Pine Manor (5-10) earned the third seed and will take on Finlandia University (10-11). The Lions defeated the Blue Angels in Hancock, Mich. last week 65-47. The Pine Manor Gators are set to take on the Lions on Feb. 29 at 6:00 pm in the Bloechl Center.
