Mount Mary first year player Na'Zyia Bobo has been named Coast to Coast Conference player of the week for the week ending January 21st. In the Blue Angels' win over Andrews on January 20th, Bobo scored 23 points on 9-16 shooting from the floor. Bobo also was red hot from behind the three point line, knocking down 5 of 9 attempts. Na'Zyia is averaging 9.2 points per game on the season and shooting nearly 38% from the field. Bobo is the second Blue Angel to be honored by the C2C as Brianna Mendez was recognized on December 18th as the conference player of the week.
Mount Mary has won three straight games and currently stands two victories away from establishing a new program record for wins.
