WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The Mount Mary University golf team hosted Carthage College for a dual today at Currie Park Golf Course.
As a team, the Blue Angels finished with a season low 472. The Lady Reds finished only three golfers on the day, one golfer short to qualify a team score.
Some very impressive numbers for both teams. Michelle Argenzio (Sr./Brookfield, Wis.) continued to impress fans with a 113, 41 over par. Every dual this season, Argenzio has carded the top score for the Blue Angels.
Peyton Davis (Fr./Tracy, Calif.) has been making some serious improvements as she finished just five strokes behind Argenzio with a 118 score. That finish was a full seven strokes better than the freshman's top score this season.
Madison Ledda (Fr./Tracy, Calif.) was just as impressive as Davis finishing with her season's best score of 119.
The Lady Reds finished with very good scores, Holly Gotlund and Aleksandra Steinert ended with 88's. The team's remaining teammate Olivia Crego finished with a 95.
Another solid finish for the Blue Angels. MMU has taken first in three of their four events so far, and have their sights set on Marian University Sun Sept. 20 at Currie Park Golf Course. First tee time begins at 11:00 am.
