ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – The Mount Mary University Golf Team traveld to the Quit Qui Oc Golf Course to take on the Lakeland Muskies. Unfortunately, Mother Nature intervened after nine holes as nearby weather system took over the area.
After waiting for the storm to pass, the team's decided to call the round after nine holes. As it is not an official round, the teams still have until the end of the spring season to decide how to proceed. The conclusion of the round is still TBD at this point.
At the turn, Blue Angel Jaqlyn Artman (Fr./Eldorado, Ill.) is at a 54, 12 strokes behind the leader Sami Jo Williams. Peyton Davis (So./Tracy, Calif.) is in seventh place with a 65 score after nine.
The Blue Angels will have to wait until Fri. Sept. 16 for their next 18 holes. MMU will face Concordia Wisconsin at Currie Park Golf Course beginning at 1:30 pm. Stay tuned to mtmaryathletics.com for more updates.
