WATERTOWN, Wis. – The Mount Mary soccer team dropped its second game in as many days Saturday, falling 5-0 to Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown.

After being held shotless in Friday's matchup with Grace Christian at MMU Soccer Field, the Blue Angels got off three shots in Saturday's matinee, two of which came on goal. Sophomore Nyasia Hardy (Fort Wayne, Ind./Snider) and freshman Micaela Gonzalez (Milwaukee, Wis./Brown Deer) each recorded a shot against the Sabercat keeper.

Freshman Angie Gomez (Milwaukee, Wis./Martin Luther) earned her second straight starting decision in goal for MMU, recording nine saves against 14 shots on goal.

Mount Mary returns to action next Sunday, hosting Andrews University in part one of a home-and-home series against the Cardinals. Kickoff for the September 26 matchup is slated for 1 p.m.
