Blue Angels and Alverno play to 90 minute draw

MILWAUKEE, WI - The Mount Mary soccer team and the Alverno College Inferno met Sunday on the south side of Milwaukee.  The two sides played a match that proved to be as even as possible, both in score and many statistics.  The match ended in a scoreless draw, leaving Mount Mary with a record of 0-4-1 on the young season.

Blue Angel goalkeeper Dylan Christensen turned in the shut out, with 7 saves on the match.  Offensively for MMU, Lexi Behringer totaled 4 shots and Ashton Longazel added 2.

Statistically the match was almost as even as possible, with shots, shots on goal and saves being nearly even for Mount Mary and Alverno.

The Blue Angels will be back at home for their next match.  Following a week off from match play, Mount Mary will host the Scots of Monmoth College on Sunday, September 18th.  The contest will begin at 11 am and all coverage is available on www.mtmaryathletics.com
