Defiance, OH- Game 2 of the 2023 Mount Mary Blue Angel soccer season saw the MMU side face the Wolves of the University of Michigan Dearborn. Mount Mary was coming off a very close 3-2 loss against Defiance College on Saturday. MMU's quest to grab a victory before the September 5th home opener was unsuccessful however, as UM-Dearborn knocked off the Blue Angels by a score of 10-0.
The Dearborn offense was relentless, giving Mount Mary no chance to catch their breath, and the Wolves took a 5-0 lead into the half. The Wolves added another 5 goals in the second half and cruised to the final score of 10-0.
Mount Mary (0-2) will next be in action on Tuesday, September 5th, the Blue Angels will host Alverno College at MMU Soccer Field in their first home contest of the 2023 campaign. The match is scheduled for a 4 pm start and live coverage is available on www.mtmaryathletics.com
