Milwaukee, WI- Coming off of a Tuesday victory over Alverno, the Mount Mary University soccer team headed to Wisconsin Lutheran College seeking a second straight win over a Milwaukee opponent. The Blue Angles showed stretches of fight throughout the match but fell to the Warriors by a score of 9-0.
The WLC offense was aggressive and effective in the first half, netting five goals. In the second half, the Warriors added four scores for the 9-0 final. MMU recorded eleven shots on the match, led by Paris Berrospe who recorded three.
Mount Mary (1-3) will next take the field on Friday, September 15th. The game at Blackburn College is the first of a two-game trip through Central Illinois.
