Madison, WI- Coming off of a decisive win over Andrews University on Sunday, the Mount Mary University soccer team headed to Madison seeking a second straight win. Unfortunately, their opponents, the Eagles of Edgewood College had different ideas. MMU fell to Edgewood by a score of 9-0.
The Eagles scored five goals in the first half and four in the second. Defensively they held the Blue Angels to five shots on the match.
Next up for Mount Mary is a swing through West Michigan. It will begin Friday, October 6th, with a rematch against Andrews, who Mount Mary just defeated 6-0. This match will be at the home of the Cardinals in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Mount Mary will then head to Lansing for a match up at Great Lakes Christian on Saturday, October 7th.
