Milwaukee, WI- John Baillie has resigned his position as Mount Mary University Head Soccer Coach and Assistant Athletic director, effective February, 29th. Baillie will be assuming the role of Head Women's Soccer Coach at Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin.
Baillie completed his sixth season at the helm of the Blue Angel soccer program in 2023. He has also served as an assistant athletic director since January of 2020.
The 2023 season saw the Blue Angel side total the most victories since the 2017 campaign. Director of Athletics Natalie Balleto commented, "John has served the Mount Mary community in so many ways throughout his tenure. We wish him well in his next endeavor. He will be greatly missed. We look forward to what the future holds for our soccer program! We are excited to build on the successes of this past season with a strong returning group at the core. "
The Blue Angels return a solid nucleus of young players who have the potential to continue the rise of the soccer program. A national search for the next Mount Mary soccer coach will begin immediately.
