Watertown, WI -- The Maranatha Baptist Bible College women's volleyball team opened up the home part of its 2013 season with a convincing 3-0 win over Mount Mary University. The Crusaders were buoyed by a raucious home crowd, anxious to welcome in the volleyball season after Maranatha finished as the runner-up for the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) national championship.
The young Blue Angels' squad was unable to build any kind of momentum against the home team. With 5 road matches to start the season leading to 5 losses so far in 2013, Mount Mary will travel once again this weekend. The Angels will face Lincoln Christian and host IU-Northwest on Saturday, September 14th, in what will be the sixth and seventh of 10-straight "non-home" matches to begin the season.
Match time for Lincoln Christian is 1pm with the IU-Northwest match beginning at 3pm.
