Wishau and Hintz Get Conference Recognition

MILWAUKEE -- Mount Mary University sent two volleyball players to the Association of Division III Independents this season. In a season with a lot of adjustments and much learning from a young team, it is exciting to have two players represent the university in AD3I.

As Sarah Wishau (Sr./Oak Creek, Wis.) finished her season as a member of the 500 kill club here at MMU, she also received AD3I All-Conference Second Team honors as an outside hitter. Wishau finished the season with 25 assists, 30 service aces, and led the team in kills with 159 and digs with 289.

Despite fighting through an injury midway through the season, Payton Hintz (Fr./Almond, Wis.) finished her season on a high note receiving AD3I All-Conference Second Team honors at setter. Hintz changed positions to start the year, and not only learned her new position, but led the team in assists as she became acclimated to NCAA DIII volleyball with 256.

With multiple players being recognized by the conference, the Blue Angels are excited to bring that momentum into the offseason to prepare for next year's run.
