Blue Angels Lose On The Road

MANITOWOC, Wis. – The Mount Mary University volleyball team lost to host Silver Lake College 3-0 tonight at the UW-Manitowoc Field House. The loss puts the Blue Angels season record at 0-4 and moves the Lakers to 4-8.

A solid start to the contest for the Blue Angels tonight, but the consistent play from Silver Lake took control of the match early. The Lakers took the first set, 25-17. Then set two provided a much closer affair. Trading back point after point, MMU had a number of opportunities and even had the lead at 27-26, but could not get that final point.
