MILWAUKEE – The Mount Mary University volleyball team released its 2021 schedule, consisting of 34 head-to-head matches and 13 different events. The Blue Angels, which haven't seen intervarsity competition since November of 2019, will host headlined by five home events, including four multiday weekend tournaments at the very comfortable confines of the Bloech Center.

The Blue Angels will open the season with a busy first week, kicking off with a rivalry game against Alverno College on Wednesday, September 1, at the Inferno's Reiman Gymnasium. MMU will then head to the Forester Invite at Lake Forest College for a four-match slate that Friday and Saturday.
Mount Mary will then welcome seven teams to the Bloechl Center for the Blue Angel Bash on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11, coinciding with a Saturday soccer matinee.
Volleyball will then head to the Lawrence University Invitational the following weekend and to Beloit College for a midweek dual match before returning to Bloechl to host the MSOE Invitational September 24-25.
October welcomes a trip to Finlandia University for its annual SISU Classic before Act II of the Alverno series, this time back on the MMU campus. The Blue Angels then trek to a dual at Maranatha Baptist University, a triangular at Rockford University, and a dual at Calumet College of St. Joseph before closing out the regular season with two more local tournaments. On October 22 and 23, the Bloechl will again be busy with the six-team MMU Invitational, before the squad ventures to Wisconsin Lutheran College for the Warrior Invite the final weekend of the month.
Finally, Mount Mary will host the inaugural Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Championship November 5 & 6, with that tournament champion earning an automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Tournament.
