Today is the final day of the season recap and conference tournament preview for the 2022 Mount Mary Volleyball team. Friday, November 4th, the team will begin play in the C2C conference tournament in Fredericksburg, Virginia, against the Gulls of Salisbury University.
The last three weeks of the regular season had three overriding themes. Close losses, tough competition and the continued emergence of young players.
Kaitlyn Powers, Caitlyn Krell, Emma White, Ava Ramos, Lillian Thundercloud, Ahlyna Cason, Alondra Arredondo and Ceara McCarthy are all major contributors to the MMU volleyball team in their first or second year with the program.
As the team advances to post season play for a second straight season, the young nucleus is very encouraging for the future of the program.
Looking at tomorrow's opponent, The Gulls of Salisbury University. Salisbury has amassed a record of 18-7. They have won their last three matches and four of their last five. The Gulls feature an experienced roster of five seniors.

Also, for anyone on the Mount Mary campus, the match will be broadcast on the big screen in North Dining Hall. Date and time for Mount Mary's second match will be determined by the result of the first.
