MILWAUKEE -- The Blue Angels cross country team finished the season this Saturday, and after another improving performance, Natalie Guyette (So./Shiocton, Wis.) has been named to the Association of Division III Independents All-Conference Team as an honorable mention.
This season for Guyette was filled with improving times. Starting off the season Guyette finished the Tom Barry Invitational with a 26:15.5 time for the five kilometer race. Guyette cut her pace in every single race this season all the way to the NCAA Midwest Regional where she crossed the time line at 25:24.9. The astonishing fact is that the final race was six kilometers, Guyette has been able to amaze all season long, but to finish the season on such a high not of performance and recognition is something Blue Angels fans will remember.
