Galles Takes Home First NACC Award

MEQUON, Wis. – In their inaugural season in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, Mount Mary University cross country runner Jori Galles (So./Waukesha, Wis.) received the first ever All-NACC award for a Blue Angel. Galles received the award Sat. Oct. 30 at the NACC race on Concordia Wisconsin's campus.

Galles finished the NACC race in 14th place and a 24:42.6 time. A routine high placer, Galles has held the top spot for the Blue Angels in every race this season for MMU. Her best place was a third place finish at the Sabercat Invite on the campus of Maranatha Baptist. Since then the newcomer has continually cut her times.

The effort and hard work from Galles earned her the first NACC award for any Blue Angel as MMU just joined the conference as affiliate members in tennis and cross country in the summer of 2015.
