Greenfield, WI- The Cross Country team from Mount Mary University finished 9th of 10 teams at the Private College Invite hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday. 6 Blue Angels completed the race with Jamy McClain being the high finisher on the day for Mount Mary.
McClain finished in 57th place in a field that contained 95 runners. MMU's next high finisher was Jennifer Villarreal in 81st, closely followed by Meah Mora in 84th.
The three additional finishers for Mount Mary were Mikayla Smith, Michelle Herrera-Carmona and Emma Eisch. The three completed the 6k race in 91st, 92nd, and 93rd respecitvely.
The next event on the schedule for the Blue Angel runners is October 29th, when MMU will compete in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference championship, held at the Northwestern Medicine Course in Geneva, Illinois.
