Jonathan A. Stone, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon of sports medicine with Orthopedic Institute of Wisconsin and is Mount Mary University Athletics' team physician beginning with the 2020-21 sports seasons. Stone specializes in orthopedic surgery, knee, shoulder, cartilage restoration, orthobiologics, and enhancing return to sport.  

Stone has worked with LA Galaxy, LAFC, US Women's National Soccer Team, Pepperdine University, Santa Monica College, AMGEN Bike Tour of California, and multiple other colleges and high schools. 

A Wisconsin native, Stone is a graduate of Homestead High School in nearby Mequon, Wis. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Williams College in Williamstown, Mass., and subsequently went to medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y. Stone's residency and fellowship training were completed at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Mass., and Santa Monica Orthopedic Group in Santa Monica, Calif., respectively.
