The Blue Angels are preparing to conclude their jam-packed 2015-16 regular season. The cold and wet weather played a major part in the constant restructuring of the schedule, leaving MMU with eight games in their final regular season week.
The Blue Angels begin the week with six straight away games. First up, MMU will face Rockford University in a doubleheader. The evenly matched teams split last season's series 1-1. This year, the Regents are 1-25 to begin the week as MMU begins play at 4-13.
Next, the Blue Angels will head across town to play Milwaukee School of Engineering. The Raiders are 5-15 on the season, but are recently off a big win against Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference foe Benedictine (third in NACC). After a slow start, the Raiders are 4-6 in their last ten games.
Then MMU will face the third NACC team of the week, and the current fourth ranked team in the conference. Concordia Wisconsin is currently 14-12 winning six of their last ten games. The Falcons have hit consistently all season sporting a .327 team batting average to begin the week.
For what could be the 2015-16 regular season finale, the Blue Angels will host Maranatha Baptist. MMU will also honor their seniors Shandrieka Richardson, Michelle Argenzio and Nikki Festge in their final home game of their collegiate careers.
