DUBUQUE, Iowa – Following their first sweep of the season, the Mount Mary University softball team will travel to Loras College today to play the Duhawks (18-6). The Blue Angels (6-12) are coming off a breakthrough of offense as they knocked 30 hits against their Association of Division III Independents rival Maranatha Baptist (2-12) yesterday.

Blue Angel Sidnee Turnage (Fr./Hesperia, Calif.) has come alive in the middle third of her season. The rookie first basemen is hitting 8-of-15 in here last four games. In the first game of yesterday's doubleheader, Turnage opened up and blasted three doubles along with a pair of RBIs. The Duhawks just had their six-game winning streak snapped by Wartburg (15-11) after a 5-5 tie was broken by a seventh inning three-run walk-off homerun.
