Blue Angels Blow Out Great Lakes Christian for first Consecutive wins since November of 2019

Milwaukee,WI- Coming off a home victory against Andrews University, the Mount Mary Blue Angels left no doubt against the Crusaders of Great Lakes Christian College on Saturday. MMU used a 45 point first half to dominate the game and cruise to 77-48 win. The consecutive victories for the basketball program are the first in over three calendar years.

The Blue Angels shot 42.6% from the floor and 11-23 from the three point line, a 47.8% clip.  Defensively, Mount Mary was solid as well, holding Great Lakes to 18 first half points.

Skye Giddings continued her stellar first year campaign, with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.  Talesa Campbell continued her rock solid play, with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.  Deja Rivers was the third Blue Angel in double digits with 16 points.

India Lucas continues to knock on the door of a triple double, she tallied 7 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists.  Alexus Hatcher scored 9 points to go with 5 rebounds.  

The Blue Angels (3-7) will hope to continue their improvement and ascent as they have three more contests before breaking for Christmas.  The first will be at Northland College, Monday December 12th, the game will tip at 2 pm at coverage will be available on www.mtmaryathletics.com
