Milwaukee,WI- Sunday's match up between the Mount Mary Blue Angels and the Cardinals of Andrews University was never in doubt. MMU shot out to a 15-2 lead, never looked back and cruised to their 4th win of the season by a score of 81-34.
10 different players scored for Mount Mary and everyone who played had at least one field goal. Mount Mary went 9-28 from beyond the three point line, led by Na'Zyia Bobo. Bobo recorded 24 points off the bench in 23 minutes of action, going 6-10 from beyond the three point line and 9-18 from the floor. Brianna Mendez was the other Blue Angel in double figures, scoring 10 and grabbing six rebounds. Alexus Hatcher also had a strong day off the bench, with 8 points and 6 rebounds.
Mount Mary also was successful in getting to the free throw line, with 29 attempts from the charity stripe.
