Milwaukee, WI- Tuesday evening saw the Mount Mary Basketball team play game number three of six straight away from home. The smothering defense of the MSOE Raiders was too much for MMU to handle and they were denied their first road win by a 66-30 final score.
Combined with controlling the play defensively, MSOE shot the ball extremely well in the first half. The Raiders shot 9-17 from behind the three point line in the first half and took a 41-14 lead into halftime.
The second half would be played at a more even level but the Blue Angels never found a groove offensively. Even when their offense created good looks, the ball did not drop for MMU on the night.
Statistically, Sanai Ballard paced Mount Mary with eight points, Na'Zyia Bobo added seven and Alexus Hatcher six.
The Blue Angels (3-4) will be back in action on Saturday, November 30th. Their road trip will continue with a trip to Rockford University for a game with a 1 pm tip. Stay tuned to www.mtmaryathletics.com for all coverage of Blue Angel Basketball.
